Elaine Lu
In 1986, Elaine left her birthplace of Shanghai, China where she graduated from the Shanghai Conservatory of Music and came to USA to continue her graduate studies in music at the University of Oregon, School of Music. Eugene. Oregon is the first place she lived in US, where she was an Assistant Concertmaster of the Eugene Symphony, Eugene Opera, and the Oregon Mozart Player. Elaine joined the Honolulu Symphony in 2008, before moving to Oahu, she was a member of the Sacramento Philharmonic and Opera, Sacramento Choral Society, and Napa Valley Symphony.
Besides playing, Elaine is a very active music teacher, she is a member of MTAC and HMTA
